The Fruit Garden blanket project, inspired by the exquisite hand embroidery and tapestry designs of May Morris of the Arts & Crafts Movement, is a must make for any serious crocheter. This is now available as a delightful book by Jane Crowfoot that is ideal as an investment project or to give as a gift.
First released as a crochet along (CAL) in 2020, this project took the world by storm with crocheters across the globe coming together to create their own heirloom pieces, whilst learning new techniques and stitch combinations along the way.
The original patterns for this project remain available as free downloads via the Stylecraft web site, but Jane has now amalgamated all the motif designs needed to make this stunning heirloom blanket into a book, which also includes crochet charts, clear step-by-step images, testimonials and more background information about her inspiration and design process as well as a brand new colour way of the blanket project, which she has called 'Red House'.
