Bay the Alpaca Counted Cross Stitch Kit

Bay is part of the Chilla Valley Alpacas herd.  She is lovely toffee coloured mid brown with cream tummy.   She was named with a group of alpacas who all had names derived from herbs but it suits her because of her colouring. She is very graceful and gentle.  As you can see simple subjects can create stunning effects.  She is completed on 14 count Aida using mainly counted cross stitch using alpaca yarn made from her fleece.  The field and flowers are created by using Manos Del Uruguay hand dyed yarns and the silk in these gives a lovely shimmer.

The frame is not included in the kit and is to showcase the finished piece.  I have two versions of the kit for you to choose:
