I've just taken delivery of some our new season yarns and they will be appearing on the site just as soon as we have finished the ball bands.  I am very sure you are going to like these - we have for the first time our very own pure Shetland lambswool in double knitting and 4ply.  It is lovely and soft and not at all harsh like some pure wools are  We also have a new colour in the Chilla Valley alpaca range - it is to be called cocoa and comes in double, 4 ply and tops.  It is a really lovely rich colour and superbly soft.  In addition we have a limited edition run of pure alpaca aran  in 100g skeins, all from our own local fleeces and producers.  Don't forget our new weaving and machine knitting yarns in 1kg on the cone ready for you to order now.  We will also be having a batch of pure alpaca felt for all of you who want to make those special hats and bags for winter and should be ready very soon. 

In the pipeline is a new yarn that should be ready very soon and this will be a Shetland Lambswool/ Alpaca mix and will come in Chunky and Aran weights

We have just launched our very own embroidery kit which has our very own Latte immortalised in the design.  I have worked with Adrienne Howells of Tudor Threads to create the pattern and you can purchase either Adrienne's pattern or the full kit depending on what you want to achieve.  All the yarns used are either Chilla Valley Alpaca with a small amount of Manos for the colour.  We've also got another one in the pipeline which we hope will be ready for Spring Shows and this is a cross stitch kit.  You will be able to see the finished project and the kits and patterns on my stands this year. 

Some of the Artesano yarns are being dicontinued and one of these is the Hummingbird 4 ply which many of you like for sock yarn.  I have found a lovely sock yarn from Knit Global which I hope you will like - it is not alpaca but is a special blend of sheeps wool and nylon.  It comes in 12 shades from variegated to solid and will be ideal for small projects like socks or for lacy shawls and scarves.

Just arrived  is a range of alpaca bedding.  These really are special with 100% cotton cases and filled with alpaca.  Why not treat yourself to some new bedding this winter.  If it is like last year we are all going to need it!
